Altea 552 DT Tamar Description
The success and popularity of the
Altea Tamar is partly down to the amount space available within the caravan,
whilst maintaining 6 large sized sleeping berths.
At the front of the caravan, the
front seating area uses two slide-out wooden frames that extend from the seat
bases to form a solid foundation on which the backrest cushions are laid to
create a flat and comfortable sleeping surface.
The centrally located side
dinette provides the third and fourth sleeping berth. The wall-mounted table
unclips to form the base for the lower single bed and a fold-away bunk bed can
be unfolded to create another sleeping area - when not required, the bunk bed
simply folds away against the wall.
At the rear of the caravan, opposite the washroom there is a set of two fixed bunk beds. Traditionally, the size of Adria’s fixed bunk beds have superseded those of their British competitors, so space isn't limited. A study clip on aluminium ladder can be attached to create easy access to the top bunk bed, whilst a folding wooden bunk bed guard can be used to ensure that children do not fall out of bed at night. Below the first bunk bed, there is a convenient storage box that can be accesses by lifting the sprung bed base upwards. A concertina door blind has also been fitted to provide the maximum amount of privacy for those sleeping in the bunk beds.
The bathroom in the Tamar is located in the rear corner, opposite the set of fixed bunk beds. The washroom features a separate, enclosed shower with folding door and a Thetford toilet with a fold-away sink located above. The fold-away wash basin forms a part of the vanity unit. The vanity unit includes a concealed medicine cabinet to store all of your toiletries.
The central located Kitchen
houses a vertically mounted combined Spinflo oven and grill, a Thetford fridge
with dedicated freezer and gas-burner hob. The stainless steel hob is
integrated into the sink, which allows for easy cleaning and disposal of any
spilt food. A chopping board is also supplied and neatly fits within the
aperture of the sink to extend the preparation surfaces available.
